Jamiroquai...

Being Jewish, Islamic and Christians we're to love each other and grow spiritually, but sometimes a part of the past gets a hold of my eyes and ears when I'm online searching for electronic books and how-to's (podcasts).

I've been listening to this group since the early 90's, working in NYC corporate retail you're bound to come across some thought-provoking music. It's unfortunate how almost 15 years later the message is still relevant; more now than ever. So I ask you to visit www.jamiroquai.com for their earlier works. Take a listen at Apple.com/itunes.

There was a point in the latter 90's where they were holding on to their existence as Stewart had left, then Toby and only Jay and Derrick remained just before Mr. Stone arrived. Well I wonder if Jay's given up those extreme gas-guzzlin' Aston Martin's and Lamborghini's. The boy's got a lead foot for speed. So it was to my surprise to see the band (Jay & Derrick and a cast of others) on the Jimmy Kimmel show. Talk about not getting a good night's sleep before travelling.

So careful listening to this music while driving or riding your bike 'cause the canned heat will get you way above 65mph, and you will totally outstrip your cadence, even on the trainer if you get caught in that hypnotic pocket.

It's the destructive future they've fought and played against in their songs while supporting Greenpeace. It's unfortunate that you don't see the damage and destruction you create when you're looking through black-colored glasses. You're destroying human lives, and animal's natural habitat's. There running in the road and dying because you want to expand the road for commerce. Please, stop hunting, or as some call it, "thinning out the numbers."

Yes, I do live in the country,

Thanksgiving...I'm Stuffed!

Well we've safely rolled across Pennsylvania just to get to the NY metro area. Time has slipped through our fingers while visiting family, but I managed to pull a solo ride to my favorite parts of town.

I forgot home was actually on a hill. I was under the impression that we lived on the flats. Tells you how long I've been away from riding. So many things have changed, from levelling the local community hospital to the fancy schmancy old brick inn where the overly-well-to-do meet for brunch. I can't complain I've been to the inn for brunch, as well. Not many roadies compared to those who use mountain bikes as means of transportation. I could not believe my eyes. The main strip lighting fixtures are decorated with multiple bikes locked to them. Sadly, the only bike rack you'll find in town is the park. I've been informed that the train station renovations will include an elevator and lots of bike racks. Now if we can get the proper security to assure commuters their steeds will be standing upon their return from a day of hustle-and-bustle.

I was hoping to make it all the way to the Iris park and then on to the university about an additional ten miles from my break point, but the sun was beginning to set and I wanted to be indoors before the temperature dropped into the 30's again. This trip we will not make it into the city (nyc). So I'm hoping to return home and settle in within the next few days. I love seeing my twin neices and my nephews. I'm a little sad as their growth in height and education has quickly lapsed before my eyes.

Atleast three months of winter to endure. Stay warm.

Ketchup

Finally found the time to get PBG-412's software up-to-date, again, and downloaded some widgets.

It's a blah morning as the rain and dark clouds have hidden the beautiful sky and bright sun. The rain will continue until tomorrow then the rest of the week will be sunny. Unfortunately, the temps going to drop to the hi-30's. So I guess I'll hibernate.

I was looking at the sunlite widget and the thought of Christ's Second Coming became a bit simpler to me. The verse that 'every eye shall see him' is now a bit more comprehensible (I guess I need to check my dictionary widget). We are The Lord's children; so compare human's to an ant, in size, and make us the tiny ones. It may be far fetched, but think of how our immediate solar system revolves. Can you see it a little?

You just need to remember that during the Second Coming what direction he will come. Don't be fooled that only a few people will see HIM and that you must travel to see HIM.

It will not be a secret. Keep reading, keep riding, and keep loving.

Apple's make you crazy

I'm a billion dollars short and 25 days late. I've finally settled in after my trip to New England. I was a bit interested in taking photo's, but after going through security each time I'm glad I chose otherwise.

The laptop's working great and I've updated some software. I just finished watching the October 'Oh one other thing...' with Jobs, Iger and Marsalis. Lovely music, but darn I'm jonesin' for an Ipod. What was the use of getting the Powerbook if I wasn't going to use it to it's total capacity. There are so many websites, software and article I need to read. Truthfully, two weeks behind on the internet actually equals a month behind in reading. I now have months of reading to catch up on. It would have been easier if the wireless router didn't blow the house into a tizzy. My weakness: widgets. I'll try to salvage the photo's taken on the cell by transfering them through bluetooth. That's going to be a fun deal.

It's 40 degrees outside after a high 70's yesterday. I knew it was coming especially after hearing that all last week Pittsburgh had an Indian Summer. I hope Thanksgiving will be nice and dry for me to ride further East. I had a great time riding the flats.

Well time for school.
