Freddie Hoffman rides

After being featured in Bicycling magazine Freddie Hoffman still rides even today.  He has recently been interviewed  on ABC News and on the way put atleast 70 miles under his belt along the way.

During the interview he explains how inspite of a difficult birth and brain damage he's just like the rest of us.  A man who loves his mother, family, bike and the inspiration of flying to the moon.  He realized that he would not be able to do so, but instead of soaring through the atmospheres he would keep his feet on the pedals.   He's visited every capitol of every state and national parks that most of us dream to visit.

So Freddie...keep riding.

Mayor R. O'Connor

As I sit here in the library, the funeral for the Mayor of Pittsburgh has begun.  The route will be almost throughout the east-end of town then onto the cemetary.  At the same time a Steelers game is today. So I'm going to try to head out of dodge although most of the streets along the 10-mile route have been closed.  Only an eight-month term, but The Lord is gracious knowing how much he wanted to be Mayor.  What a legacy!  Sleep until The Lord returns.
