It's graduation time and a multitude of con'grad'-ulations have arrived. Most of the cards have been purchased from a store. Yet one handmade item has given inspiration to re-visit the local craftstore where I previously ventured to immerse myself in rubberstamps. At a dollar a piece for various sizes/shapes is great compared to the $3-$15 stamps, which I may grow into later.
Time to see if I actually have any artistic grace within to show friends or family members. Maybe, just to have at home, or meet someone new. Someone's birthday's coming this June, July, or August. All the children of the world were not born between October to December.
Paper, pens, pencils, markers, paint, inkpads, stamps, scissors, stencils, books, water, cleaners, bits of fabric, and heat. An art form replaced by the use of typing words on the computer, changing their fonts and printing them from the colorprinter.
It was the thought that counts.
