Glad I am not home for this event

Is this homage to the WTC? Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

After the initial repairs of the PATH station were made to return full service downtown, it appears Apple has created an underground store. The look and feel reminds me of visiting that little pub just to the left of the first set of elevator/stairs before ascending to the main vertical corridor to street level at the old WTC. Will more stores follow Apple's trail? Instead of building up let's go underground. I hope they checked the surrounding blocks watermain breaks history.

The design is fabulous! It allows a place for people to sit for events, but a spiral staircase and all that tempered glass? Where are the emergency exits?

Can you imagine the people that live across the street? They will need earplugs and background music machines to help them sleep. But, hey, we're New Yorkers, some of us slept through the earthquake of in the 80's.

Ciao!

Do you have a boat?

Sabbath was beautiful!! Now today is the third day straight that it's been raining. The trees are in dire need of watering and this will save on landscaping costs of watering your yard twice daily.

Yet, I have this fear that a repeat of September 27, 2004 may arise. The three rivers at Point State Point swelled and overflowed into Point State park.

However, my friends and family are holding on in the New England area.

All will be ok.

Go out and stay dry.

Ciao!

Are you todays cartoon?

I think Dilbert has been reading my diary!

There's more junk on Craigslist, Yahoo's Hotjobs and just forget about looking for a job through Google. CareerBuilders has there database flowing over with junk.

After the flooding of the days rain make sure you wait for the ground to dry a bit before you ride.

Enjoy the weekend.

Stop posing and Get a Mac!

Apple - Get a Mac - Watch The TV Ads

These skits are absolutely hilarious! I opened Apple's homepage to find multilayers of video fun.

If you're into dry humor...well, enjoy!

Lately....

Spring is slowly blooming the countryside and it's made me realize that I must wake up. I have a desire, but I dont' know for what.

The death of a family member can linger in your mind and turn your brain into a serious omelette. I thought I was fine, but I guess I'm wrong. There's a horrid fear, which has me stuck. My open-minded and sunshine outlook is stuck in this past winter.

I went riding yesterday. Only seven miles, but a bike club came through town of about 20-30 riders. I was just so pumped, but now I'm back to the extended February winter. What a mess?! All the local universities have packed up until the summer classes begin later this month.

I should be estatic...It's National Bike Month and in a couple weeks it will be Bike-to-Work week. Then next month is Bikefest 2006 so I have an entire month to get my lungs, heart rate and weight down below 200lbs.

Where's Merlin Mann when you truly need him??!
