Originally I was going to sing the kids game, but it's a bit late.
Yet... Have you ever downloaded so many podcasts, pictures and etc. that you had less than 10% hard drive space left on your computer. Well being the podcasting explorer junky that I am...... I have left myself with 12 gigs of space.
Now in order for me to clear up my disk space I need to binge on podcasts for a few days. This is a bit difficult as I have problems just deleting episodes I've listened to already. There are atleast three podcasts that will not be removed until I make a backup disc (topofthepods, commandN and the group from Joseph Nilo), which reminds me I need to make one for the system. I have no intentions of resolving a crashed system again.
I currently have about 30 pictures sitting on my desktop that I need to upload to either my flickr account and/or textamerica. Guess what? Not tonight!

Warmth soon, please.....
As we're a hare past the half-month mark I was hoping for some warmer weather. However, it does not appear to be anywhere in sight.
Pittsburgh weather will DROP this weekend. Maybe the US should just give us and upstate NY to Canada. Most of the people in the area have either originated from the North or from West Virginia. What's the difference you might ask? Canada has Toronto, which I think is Pittsburgh's little sibling. Please don't take offense even thought I see how Canadians would have every reason.
So bulk up on the wool, fleece and down feather clothing unless you're allergic. I'm going to go finish watching Hak5 archives for the next 15 minutes until the wireless is closed.
Until I make some small changes to this blog sometime next week, stay warm.
Happy Sabbath and God Bless.
Ciao!

Is it freezing now?
Yesterday on the way to school it was 75+ degrees and a rainstorm came upon us. The temperature dipped to the high 50's after 7 p.m.
So as the night passed I grabbed my two comforters and my trusty fleece throw just to stay warm. For the past two hours a flurry blizzard and high gusts of wind had me grabbing for my wool socks, and -20 degree hoodie and shell to head out to school this morning.
Prepare for snow....spring will not be reporting to the northeast until May!

Beautiful day for a ride
It has been a week, even though there are a couple days left to it. For the week some items excited me to no end. Now today was the icing on the cake after leaving school. I finally had a veggie cheeseburger and a bottle of Accelerade.
That's right! The weather today was so beautiful that I pulled the bike off the trainer, worked on the tires, rear skewer and brakes, and then grabbed my seatbag, lights and computer. Quickly dressed in my winter riding outfit then added my fleece vest and Oscar The Grouch socks then out the door.
I put a few miles on the trainer, but nothing major. A leisure ride up the hills then enjoyed the looked for flats. It was beautiful, except for the soil from the local constructions!
My goal was to enjoy the ride and concentrate on the basics: get the legs working in tandem to crank out even circles. I will also have to work on my steering.
I wish there were a local streetsweeper to clear off the shoulders. Winter plowing digs up the asphalt and oiled roads, as well, people throw their trash out of vehicles.
The last couple weeks skunks, deers, squirrels and wild turkeys have been laying on the shoulders after being hit, but the town quickly grabs them up before decomposing. I hope they continue through the summer as I've met packs of joggers enjoying the lovely weather too. The items on shoulder roads can harm bike tires and especially joggers.
So get your gear ready and visit your local REI.com calendar for outdoor training classes. I've already missed the bike mechanic 101 course.

Yeah......Hot Pants!!
It's 12:40 a.m. and I'm listening to the three recent shows from Top of The Pods, my favorite podcast.
I'm waiting with bated breath of a new introduction, which sounds like James Brown having a fit. It's better then Eddie Murphy's SNL skit of the James Brown Celebrity Hot Tub.
Jon and Rob, you're making it very hard for me and the rest of the household to sleep.

Where did the time go?
Finally, after many months of sifting through various blog-text editors a widget has been produced for Blogger.
So if you're wondering why I've posted twice for the day...this is a test for my new widget. I took a rest from all the researching and reading to search for previous widgets I've removed or the widget updater by versiontracker and others.
Honestly, I would love to iLounge's widget, but they have not produced a podcast in such a long time that I thought to pass. They were extremely informative and I just loved the accent of the host. So I have now filled that position with a few of my favorite podcasts: Top of The Pods and all three of Joseph Nilo's podcasts, Macpropodcast, Podcaster's Confession and the Mac Roundtable.
So as I fill myself on lemon-water and Panera's Sourdough-bowled soup I bid you goodnight.
Ciao!

Strange....Not!
Have you ever wondered why The Lord have people sit next to you, or to your understanding just talk to you out of the blue sky for no apparent reason? It's not the first time it has happened to me so I guess it will not be the last.
Hoping for some privacy, I've placed myself at a table situated behind a beam to get an edge on my research. I'm cluttered with books and technology, which spans half the table. A woman comes to loudly place her belongings on the table and heads for the bookshelves 20 feet away. Ok, I'm confused. There are many tables, chairs and other areas to sit. Why me? I just prepare myself for a conversation to commence.
Yet I've failed to realize that it's lunchtime and I have not moved from this table to eat, nor have I turned on my cellphone. I've become a bit engrossed, and quite honestly, obsessed with reading and searching. I've been waiting upon The Lord for the answer. However, the answer is 'not yet because you must wait'. Wow what does He have planned for me.
Although it's freezing outside the weather personalities are hoping for warmer weather later this week. I wonder who will come sit and speak to me then?

It's driving me...
I've been Downtown, Oakland, Squirrel Hill, Southside and to The Waterfront searching for help. No luck as of yet, but in my search a man approached me for help.
The chain of libraries are not on one accord with their wireless and as this gentleman explained how he followed the established instructions to no avail. I jumped at the opportunity to help him. As he opened his Dell I turned his laptop to him to remove his security password. He told me that he doesn't use it much and that a log-on was not necessary for him. We followed the printed instructions, once again, then opened his browser to start changing his proxy. I suggested to him to try the firefox browser instead of ie. As we made the alterations he told how he had asked his parents for a Mac and they purchased the 15-inch Powerbook, loaded. He stated he felt guilty and returned it to purchase his Inspiron.
Well IE would not produce his internet options dialogue boxes for some strange reason so as I went to suggest a round-about it opened after some questioning of what's wrong. We completed installing the host address target as I noticed it was different from the Mac proxy directions. Address and all, unfortunately, we were still unable to connect to the internet until I picked up my Palm T3 and had him change the proxy address.
Hooray for hollywood...a connection. He was finally happy to connect to the libraries wi-fi, but had to leave.
I realized after we shook hands and he dashed out the door that I meant to inform him that he will have to remove or change this proxy for other access points of his favorite access-clad hangouts.
It feels so go I'm tempted to apply for an IT position again. It's surrounding me; driving me; taunting and seducing me...
I'm not sure I want to give-in. Is it truly what I waant to do? Let's see the next coming sabbaths.
