On the plane again!

So after much preparing and pruning of items to pack. I'm finally down to an average of five to seven shirts and pants, and practically all of my cycling clothes.

I'm glad the clocks fell back an hour, which gave me time to do laundry, shop, wash, and arrange some personal cycling gear. Just as a precaution. For a sunny Sunday not many people are the on road so it took us an hour and ten minutes to get to the airport. In order to keep the little one under-budget I told my roommate not to park at the airport, but to go home. I don't want her crying cause I'm travelling. She's such an emotional human. This allows me to do some airmall shopping, which I did after going through security screening.

It was fun. I informed them that I have a leg brace and that I'm unable to take off my shoes. As well, the brace has four layers of metal springs. So I was padded down by a young lady and picked up my laptop, which would not come on after the second try! So I'm thinking this had better work because I'm carrying a two pound paperweight laptop. It came on after the third try and my cellphone works, but I haven't tried T3 and my free BT headset. It's a get-up from T-Mobile's To Go, no contract plan. I love this; use it only when you need it!

So I headed straight to the 'Palm' store to pick up an iGo power converter, because currently my laptop battery's only holding two hours of juice. So the guys at Airport Wireless/Palm paired the laptop and portable charger together for PBG=412 and the T3. It actually costs less than the prepackaged outfit iGo offers.

So I asked Justin and Jeremy where's the wireless port in the hub and they pointed me to the direction all the way down the corridor near information. Since the laptop was already out of my backpack I turned her on and jumped on the moving floor/escalator. One woman laughed and we started a brief conversation about me searching for a strong signal, but I found it!

Currently it's quiet and bare in the B corridor, but picking up a bit. I like that, but I'm also hungry and think I should get moving so that I will not have to use the facilities on the airplane. I can't recall the movie, but have you noticed airplane flicks always have something wrong going on in the bathroom? As a little girl I wouldn't use the facilities in the Winnebago when dad took us on trips. My suggestion only if it's attached to a central plumbing system will I use it, but I've learned to camp, hardcore' so forget the outhouse!

Well, it's time to check email, eat and ready to board my flight to New England. Unfortunately, I'm connecting in Philly instead of flying to O'Hare then to New England, but I haven't done this since a I was a little girl. Flying solo can be fun and sometimes lonely unless you meet a friendly person.

So Ciao until Philly!
