I've finally made the committment. Ever since the early 80's I had wanted to own my own Apple product. I almost obtained one of Apples first notebooks, but I was veered away as any money would be for school and the responsibility of paying rent while living at home. Oh the lessons we try to teach kids when all they truly want to do is enjoy their time not being an adult.
So now, almost 40, I gave Steve Jobs some gas money for the next four to six months. I hope he's not driving an SUV. So I'm sitting in the library streaming FM rock stations. Ozzy just ended and Eric Clapton's covering the legendary Bob Marley and family.
I had to decide to either obtain a cellphone, since someone lifted my battery from my seatbag in Squirrel Hill, another Palm, or just do a combination. So my next and final gadget will be Palm's Treo 650.
If I don't ride daily I'm unable to get a good nights rest. So last night the infamous bathroom marathon ensued (I had water, apple and oj before bed). Drinking water and apple juice is fine, but orange juice (which I LOVE) runs to my bladder faster than a doberman chasing a cat. So last night I watched Breaking Away until 5 a.m. and went back to sleep.
So now to update Palm and other softwares and downloads. This is going to be interested.
Oh well, lunch time! Chinese sounds good right now.
Keep riding.
