Last night at school there was just so much going on in my head with traveling to New England that I dumped out three long postings. Yet there are times when your best made plans go awry. You'll have to check back in the future for those three reports, which will include this late fall season of travel.
After not having much success at Carnegie library's wi-fi I decided to visit one of my favorite eateries in Pittsburgh, Hotdogma! Yesterday was there anniversary of continuing a year of clean-dog-eating success. They're so good that they will be featured on The Food Network, on Tuesday, November 8th at 9:30 p.m., EST (check your local listing). I hope I'm near cable-access as that's a travel day for me from home. Airports still have those pay-tv-chairs don't they?
Of course I just dated myself. So my former boss' life-partner shows up and boy am I shocked. I thought engineers worked until blood flowed from their pores. Well it was sweet to see him. I didn't hug him as I usually greet people I miss for long periods of time. Strange. We chatted for a hot second, but I knew he needed peace and quiet from people, ringing phones and etc. so if there were any questions posed they would have to come from him. It was a quiet lunch until the question arose of how I knew one of the owners. Total chance that we're from neighboring counties in NJ. I thought it was really cool to see him wearing a hoodie with 'JERSEY PRIDE' plastered on the back. Oh I'm all emotional.
Well classes are out and it's time to head to South Side Works Cheesecake Factory. Mmmm!
Ciao!
